Sustainability assessment of a mediated service - a pilot study
This project was a pilot study within the newly started Centre for Sustainable Communications. The aim was to perform a screening sustainability assessment of a specific mediated service. This was done by an evaluation of a specific service provided by “Arbetsförmedlingen” – the Public Employment Service in villages in central Sweden during one year. The assessment included the economic, environmental and social consequences of introducing mediated meetings for the provision of this service in comparison to existing or alternative solutions. In addition, results from the pilot study provided experience and basis for future development of methodology for sustainability assessments within the Centre for Sustainable Communications.
