Research Projects

Josefin is a member of the multi-disciplinary team of the project "Situations of Opportunity in the Growth and Change of three Stockholm City Districts – everyday life, built environment and transport explored as Energy Usage Systems and Governance Networks". The topic of her thesis is to develop the theory and methodology related to the concept of Situations of Opportunity – periods in urban development when the potential for change is big and inertia low. The thesis will comprise theories and methods of i.e. urban planning, futures studies, governance network theory and social practices.
