International Master Program in Geodesy and Geoinformatics (IMPGG)

This master programme is offered by the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm. The programme is taught entirely in English. It is open to both Swedish and international students, who do not need to pay any tuition fees. An undergraduate background in geomatics/surveying engineering is preferred. However, the programme can also accept candidates with a strong background in mathematics, computer science or other related fields.

The objective of the programme is to provide advanced training in modern geoinformation technology. The programme focuses on defining geodetic reference systems; collecting, structuring and visualizing geospatial data. In particular, the programme will extensively address development and applications of Geographic Information Systems (GIS). For further information visit the IMPGG website.
