Research

Research activities of the Geodesy Division have been well-known internationally. Research records date back to the periods when professor Arne Bjerhammar was still active within the Division. He made many pioneer research in the fields of physical geodesy, generalized matrix calculus, electronic distance measurements and land uplift studies. Today, the Division is lead by professor Lars Sjöberg and continues the research tradition on physical geodesy, adjustment theory, etc, while exploring new research areas such as GNSS-related studies.
